A Dictionary of English Grammar for Students of Biblical Languages is a short resource of English grammatical terms explained for students of biblical Greek and Hebrew. The terms are organized alphabetically and defined according to their use in the English language. Explanations of how the terms are utilized in Greek and Hebrew are also included.

Greek, nouns retain case endings that signify their grammatical case. However, case endings have fallen out of use in modern Romance languages (which are derivatives of Latin) and modern Greek. Likewise, English retains no remnants of an inflected case system, except among certain personal pronouns (e.g., nominative case “I,” accusative and dative case “me,” genitive case “mine”).
